Liz Thurmond

The Ole Miss BSU is a large ministry with deep impact and maximum opportunities available to college students. These are still strong attractions to the student.

It is a delight to see young students grow in confidence of their faith and in who they want to become. I have been privileged to see students serve the Lord all over the world in many different capacities: as a teacher, physician, preacher, mom/dad, actor, singer, businessman/woman, policeman and even as a campus minister!

What a wonderful life we can live through Christ. So many friends and faces through the years are forever engrained in my heart. Besides my natural “blood-kin," BSU has been, and remains, a “family” for me.

Liz is a member of First Baptist Church, Oxford, MS. She has two brothers, Keith and Charlie, and one sister-in-law, Cheryl. She has an incredible nephew, Ross and a beautiful niece, Holly.
