
Dr. Morris "Mo" Baker became the Ole Miss BSU director in 2002 after he had served as Baptist Campus Minister of Pearl River Community College from 1993 - 2002. Mo has also served as Minister to Students at First Baptist Church, Gulfport, Mississippi from 1989 - 1993.
Mo graduated from Eutaw High School in Eutaw, Alabama in 1982. He attended The University of West Alabama graduating with a Bachelors of Science (Biology) in 1985. From there, he went on to the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity in Christian Education, graduating in 1988. In 2003, Mo earned his Doctorate in Education (Leadership) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He was an Adjunct Instructor at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi from 1994 - 2002. During the 2003 - 2004 school year, Mo taught Bible at the Regents School of Oxford. He is also a member of the North American Professors of Christian Education.
